Training and professional development, along with strategic human resource management are very important to the success and the sustainability of any electric utility. YTP GROUP has provided training to utilities worldwide and assisted in human resource development and institutional capacity building, with sustainable outcomes. training models can be adapted to the development of staff, particularly at times of change and significant reorganization.
Training is an essential component to most of our projects. The integration of appropriate training programs plays an important role to build the capacity of an electric utility and also to ensure the sustainability of the systems in place. Unique training packages are designed and implemented to complement each project with the principal purpose of increasing the knowledge, skills and abilities of the local people with respect to the new systems.
YTP GROUP has successfully delivered both on-shore and off-shore training to utilities numerous countries. We have delivered training and performance support activities to organizations in various disciplines within the utility industry and the general business community, in addition to its own employees. The training is offered through our Training & Performance Support Agency in two main areas:
- Technical Training
- Business Skills
Our instructors are drawn from both YTP Group and her Business Partners (Joint Ventures and Consultants) and the local training and development community, and they are selected for both, their direct operation and technical skills as well as their human resource development experience. They bring a combination of varied corporate experience as well as a wide range of business applications.

Main features/Activities Performed :
- Position demonstrates directly related experience to the task required· Responsible for YTP Group’s project managers and development of International electricity and natural gas project opportunities as well as conducting extensive training programmes for Utilities and the Industry,.
- Responsible for direction and guidance with respect to:
- Complex project structures including joint venture companies, associations, and/or subcontracting.
- Contract development, contractual obligations, and negotiations.
- Project start-up including personal services contracts, benefits, and site preparation.
- Project staffing and ongoing human resource management.
- Ongoing project operations including client relations.
- Contract negotiations with customers, stakeholders and funding sources.
- Carrying out assessments related to country and client risks, safety, health and security of staff and families, including insurance requirements and procurement of any required professional services.
- Systematic evaluation of contractual risks including legal and financial due diligence.
- Understanding and complying with all foreign and domestic laws, regulations, tax codes, immigration requirements, and obtaining any required permissions, permits and business licenses.
- Overall responsibility for contract administration and meeting contracted deliverables.
- Responsible for providing direction to field managers/team leaders, evaluating performance, identifying problems and taking corrective action.
- In association with Grayboy Incorporated we are internationally recognised to evaluate the reduction of non-technical energy loss through innovations in IT infrastructure and applications, deployment of PPM, process redesign and improvement, meter maintenance and security, development and implementation of MIS system and related outage management system, design and implementation of employee evaluation and training programmes.
